…people adore him enough to make him a game. For better or for worse ladies and gentlemen, United States president-elect Barack Obama now has a game in his honor. Yes, you read that right: the three people at Zensoft love their next president enough to come up with Super Obama World, a parody on the classic Mario game featuring the next US leader.

I would like to tell you all that starting tomorrow I would no longer be as free as I used to be because I’m going to join the workforce. Yes, you read that right: come November 17th, Keithmaxx becomes an IT professional.
What does this change inevitably mean for Keithmaxx Press? It’s not like the Press releases news on a daily basis, but there could inevitably be a bit less posts made available each week. I will do my best to maintain the quality of every content whether it be for Keithmaxx Reviews, Previews or anything, and make sure that things will be as interesting as before, if not better.
That said, this will be the last post of my rather “carefree” days, and from now on I will appreciate any kind of encouragement from you guys whether it be in the form of site hit count (Did I mention I surpassed my site visit and bandwidth statistics last month already?), link exchanges (Link me up and I’ll be glad to link to you in return.), contact form messages or the more desirable post comments (No need for spam comments here, thank you very much.). Of course, I also suggest you subscribe to Keithmaxx Press feeds through your preferred feed reader or by email.
At any rate, I can see that my life and the Press can only get more interesting from here onward so look forward to developments in the weeks and months to come!

We have all moved into a new month, so I’d like to announce that Keithmaxx Reviews theme for November 2008 would be shows with occult elements.
I hope you guys appreciated the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 review and the Itazura na Kiss review, anime shows that began back in spring this year, and finally the Natsume Yuujinchou review, one which started airing in summer, all of which having just ended. I hope that you enjoyed the posts, take the time to peek at the shows themselves, and of course look forward to the reviews that are yet to come!

In the past few days I have been working with our years-old desktop and I noticed its stark difference in performance from that of a recent model of the Acer Aspire laptop we own. Well you could say that there’s no use comparing the two, but seeing as I’m not the only one who makes use of a computer day in and day out I’ve come to an important decision: I think I have to buy a laptop for myself.
The thing is, I see myself doing more traveling in the months or few years to come but I don’t have that much to shell out right now. I decided to go for one of the smaller notebooks, though I’m still stumped over which one to buy: Acer Aspire One, MSi Wind or Asus EeePC.
Care to give me some advice? Here’s what I’m after…

For the few past weeks - not counting the lull during the series of unfortunate events involving Keithmaxx Press - I’ve been making steady progress with my Entrecard drops. Fortunately or unfortunately however, I’m going to be busy with what we all call “work” starting next week or so. This can only mean that spending even just an hour for dropping isn’t likely going to be realistic for me any longer.
I made progress in dropping cards on all the sites in my inbox, returning drops made by other people over a month’s time. Right now I’m considering limiting my drops to sites made by people who have left their card in the last seven days only, or to those on the first ten pages of my inbox, or strictly within a number well below Entrecard’s ceiling of 300 each day.
I haven’t decided on the solution to my new dropping strategy, but I’m going to try out a few heuristics first and see where it goes. I’d be grateful to you guys who could share their ideas on my situation. How long do you take each day in doing EC drops? What kind of limits do you impose on yourself? I’ll be watching out for your advice, alright?

Some of you may have, in days just over the past weekend, noticed a rather embarrassing site error code on Keithmaxx Press. I myself was incredibly flustered and angry when I checked out my Entrecard statistics… On two particular days that the site was down I had a big number of ads placed and attracted a lot of clicks! So now I apologize to those who were disappointed by the rather tester-familiar “welcome” message to the site, but I’d like to share with you guys exactly what happened so you can learn from my experience.
